Free training in family based treatment for anorexia nervosa

A unique learning experience
This purpose of the study is to examine the fidelity of a carefully designed training solution.
The program leverages cutting edge online learning techniques to deliver a high quality training to busy clinicians.
Learn the tools to deliver gold standard FBT
The course is delivered over 8 weeks with each week consisting of short videos that teach the tools you need to deliver FBT in an outpatient setting. In addition the training platform features:
- Clinically focussed exercises
- Moderated discussion forums
- Regular check ins from specialist moderators
Supervision
Upon completion of the 8-week training course, you will continue to have access to the training platform so you can revisit specific concepts and discuss clinical challenges among your peers. In addition, you will be provided with ongoing clinical supervisory support for 2 cases.
Study eligibility criteria
In order to sign up for the study you must
- Be a licensed clinician (Psychiatry, Psychology, MFT, LCSW, only)
- Be in a position to treat 2 adolescent patients with AN using FBT within a one year period. This must be in an outpatient setting.
- Be conducting therapy in English.
- Be prepared to watch all videos and complete assignments on time
- Agree to collect and send all study-related materials to the research team (informed consent form, weights, etc.)
